Today I am going to be sharing a review and swatches of Sivanna Colors Shimmer Brick in 06.This a beautiful shimmer brick, a dupe of the Bobbi Brown and Revlon Shimmer bricks, but at a very very reasonable price ! Its a pink toned shimmery,powder finish product that screams GLOW ! Beautiful product indeed !
Packaging
It was in a black cardboard case,in which there was a compact-like box which was also black in color.The flip top is of transparent plastic with the brand name printed on it.Overall the packaging was satisfactory,not sure if you can carry it in your bag and not expect it to crack,because a cake product is generally very fragile.There is an ingredient list,the shade number and the details on how to use the product mentioned.
Price-This one is for 399 INR both on Flipkart and Amazon.(However,I paid 70 Rupees extra for delivery via Amazon)
Shelf Life - 3 Years
Ingredients- Mica,Talc,Paraffinum Liquidum, Dimethicone, Magnesium Aluminium Silicate,Nylon 12, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Ethylparaben, Propylparaben, Butylparaben,Red Iron Oxide(CI77491), Yellow Iron Oxide (CI 77492), Black Iron Oxide (CI 77499) .
The ingredient list mentions silicones and parabens which might not please everyone.
The product-It is a beautiful brick with iridescent glow,there are 5 shades each with a shimmery finish.The first shade is a light shade with peach tones and slightly brownish with shimmer particles.The next one is a white highlighter with gold shimmer to it.The one below it,is a pink shade,more towards a rose color with gold shimmer.The fourth one is a proper pink color with silvery shimmer to it.The last one is pretty much like the first one,it is darker and warmer with more of brown tones to it.
The finish and pigmentation- The product is highly pigmented and shimmery,a little bit goes a long way.The individual colors are gorgeous and when combined also look very pretty.The shimmer particles however do not stay in place for very long time (say 1 hour) and then the color has a pearl finish which doesn't look bad either.
