Hey guys, I know its pretty weird for someone like me to write a post like this, I've been giving serious tips and honest reviews for the past one year I've been blogging but a little fun is always needed ;)
So here's a list of things that you could totally relate to, if you love makeup/cosmetics.
1)You'll have no clothes to wear, but lots of lipstick shades to choose from
I admit it, I literally wake up to the few standard set of tops/bottoms accessories and a higher number of cosmetics to choose from.As in you have one black top, and one pink lippie, one red one and one nude one to pair it with.Not that we don't have a lot of clothes, but makeup always rules.
2)You'll ALWAYS be broke (by spending on makeup) in the middle of the month
If you belong to a middle class Indian family like me, you would have a fixed budget to spend every month, and you always want more ( don't deny this), so you give into the temptation of buying all you like before the middle of the month and then everyone's story is the same.
3)Sacrifices - all the time.
I know a lot of people who sometimes skip lunches, miss an outing only because you want to buy that expensive new product you have your eyes on and then you value the product to bits.
4)And facing the dumb, judgmental people
If you've heard, "I think you would look better without makeup." or '' You wear too much makeup." or''You look ugly without makeup.'', trust me, you are not the only one, there's judgmental people every where and they are going to find nooks anyway, so why not do what you love and turn a deaf ear to them, because in the end, it's about you.
5) People identify you with makeup
Everyone around you, relates makeup to you.They'll message you when they need some junkie advice and ask you what's wrong if you don't wear eyeliner.So, makeup becomes a part of your persona and there's nothing wrong about it, its almost like a perfume you're wearing for years together and everyone just links the fragrance to you.
6)You're always late in the mornings
Not because you wake up late, but because you take a fair amount of time getting dressed or rather wearing makeup, because you can't stop at foundation only, you need your contour/bronze and brows on point too and that obviously gets you a late masterpiece at work or college.
7)Makeup gives you confidence
Not only because it hides your flaws, but also because you have an artist inside of you, you love colors and patterns and sparkle and having it on you gives you the confidence to face the world in a better way.
8)You have loads and loads of affection towards your products
Believe it or not, you love your products and there are times when you speak to them or have your own names for them.You'll call your highlighter *baby* and your brush *buddy* and what not.
9)You'll hoard
You will.Even after you have 20 different shades of lipstick or 5 different bronzers, you would stock on more and it won't even be your fault, makeup is soo addictive, so you need not get gulity .
10)You'll talk to yourself in the mirror like a YouTuber
Admit it you will and you wouldn't realize when you start doing it, its so much fun anyway.
