The Eyeliner Arena

Hello my loves ! Today I'm going to be telling you all about eyeliners which includes the types of eyeliners plus using a tiny picture tutorial plus my favourite products that have both their utility and price on fleek. This is a requested post because so many of my friends find it difficult to line their eyes and so we'll get to basics :*

TYPES OF EYELINERS
1)Kohl pencil/Kajal pencil eyeliners
They are probably the easiest to apply because they're don't require sturdy hands and besides we write more than we paint. This one is the apt choice if you're going somewhere casual like a movie or college or shopping because it does not create the effect of sharp ,structured well defend eyes, they can be smudged to create a smokey eye. They're easy to carry, a kajal pencil can even fit into your clutch and you can get sexy eyes anytime .The cons of these kind of liners is that they smudge if not applied properly and you might end up looking like panda :( but don't worry I've got this method of fixing your kajal or liner.Whenever you apply kohl, just fix it with black eyeshadow and I swear it wont smudge giving you the chic casual look everytime you need it.You could also layer coloured eyepencils to get a cute quirky look.
The products available :-
Lakme eyeconic in black(My favourite, always in my bag, dark ,intense, doesn't smudge easy and on budget)
Colossal kajal(The turquoise shade is better than the black one ,the black one smudges very easily)
Loreal Paris Kajal magique(Soft, intense but pricey)
Blue heaven kohl(tiny, not the perfect liner but will give you the best smokey eyes )

2)Gel eyeliner
Gel eyeliners are very easy to apply. Most of the youtube tutorials have gel liners ,they're every makeup lover's favourite. The have thier own brush ,they're not as dense as liquid liners .They come in pots and are easy to carry. The only problem with them is thier availability and price they're more expensive as compared to kohl or liquid. So if you are a beginner try something cheaper so you can learn .
The products available:-
Oriflame studio artist gel liner
Lakme absolut gel addict liner
L’Oreal Paris Super Liner 24H Gel Liner Black
Maybelline Lasting Drama Gel Liner
Coloressence gel liner

3)Liquid liners
They are my ultimate favourite. Its difficult to master liquid liners because it requires lot of practice and sturdy hands but the result for sure makes you look like a queen .They are my parallel favourite to kohl liners. They will give you the ultimate defined eyes you would want for a party or a date or anything formal. They do not smudge and stay for long. Many companies sell liquid eyeliners that reflect light when dry.You also get eyeliners that peels off if you wash your face, they're great cause there is no struggle to get the liner off your eyes.
Products available
Lakme eyeconic eyeliner
Gala of London pearl liquidline
Maybelline hyperglossy liquid liner
Elle 18 liquid liner

4)Shadow liners
You don't actually need to find shadow liner ,just moisten your angled blush and pick some black/brown eyeshadow and follow your lashline. This is a perfect method to get a soft, understated beautiful look.

TUTORIAL
I'm going to be showing you the basic idea of how to apply
1)Kohl liner
2)Liquid liner
Yes,I do look tired in the pictures but the technique is important ,no ?
1)First take a finger of the hand you are not likely to use to line and hold down the lid that you want to line. This is for people who can't shut one eye.Dont weigh down your lashes just gently hold them.

2)Then take you kohl pencil start lining the CENTRE of your lid, closest possible to your lashline so it looks natural.

3)Slowly start moving away from the centre and make small, gentle strokes following your lash line, try to keep your hnads sturdy. If it may not come to you the very first time, you will definately master it with practice

4)Then line either sides from the centre using the same technique.Keep your hands light.
5)The simple eyeliner is done, flaunt it ,love it :*

6)Now for the wing.Extend the line beyond your lid ,using your lower lashline as a reference.Create a small triangle by taking the line back to the lashline.

.6)Fill the triangle with the pencil
7)Connect the wing to your lower lashline to make it look complete.

8)Voila! We're done with a winged eyeliner look. And all you need to do is practice and more practice :p

ii)Using a liquid liner
The technique is the same ,you only need to follow your lashline, but this method requires more precision because liquid liners are not that forgiving.

1)Here first we start with the inner corner of our eyes.
2)Next we will be continuing the line slowly, staying close to the lashline.Do not haste it here, because you might end up losing contact with the lashline.

3)Next.We will complete the line and follow the exact same method to wing it.You have to do it very slowly.
