Hey there you guys!I wanted to write this post since a really long time because I was the first person whose eyes used to look like a freaking panda with all that kajal bleeding down my waterline :(
So I decided to write this post that might help more people like me.
Kajal is like the staple cosmetic product for us desi girls. You don't have a makeup base, don't have a lipstick, but you will always have a kajal pencil along !But sometimes we shy away from using it,especially when you have long working hours. So here are a few ways in which you can flaunt those beautiful eyes sans the smudge :)
1)CHOOSE THE RIGHT KAJAL
Okay,no matter what you do and how much you try,you NEED to have a kajal that's smudge proof.A kajal with a higher percentage of oil will spread easily and therefore smudge very easily especially when its summer and it can melt easily. Also if your eyes water too much, there is a chance of that kajal running down,so always choose the right kajal.Whenever you go to buy one,ask the SA to give a swatch and after 5 seconds or so,try and spread it.If it spreads easily, you know to say a no,if it doesn't,voila, you have made the correct choice. It is actually that easy ;)So my favourite ones include the oriflame one, lakme eyeconic and essence pencil eyeliner.
2)TRY USING A CONCEALER
I know its not always possible to use one, because that babe needs a lot of time to blend and you really can't wear concealer on those rushed mornings. But if you a few minutes to invest, wear a concealer, because not only will it prevent oiling of your under eye region but also it will help you cover your dark circles making your eyes look a lot more flawless.
3)MY COVERAGE TRICK
i just mentioned that one might not always have the time to wear concealer like 7 am in the morning when you're feeling like a sloth. So what I do is I use a little bit of BB cream underneath my eyes and then dust the very same area with a bit of pressed powder. So,I won't lie that the coverage will be as good as a concealer, but this trick will make thing better in three ways-first it'll provide a sheer coverage making your dark circles look a little bit lighter.Second,it will prevent oiling of the under eye region so your kajal won't spread and third,it takes only one minute to do it ,so its like taking a short cut ;)
4)USE AN UNDER EYE CREAM/SERUM/GEL
This is not a direct way though, but indirectly it is a huge huge thing that is going to make your under eye circles disappear. The idea is when you moisturize the skin,it will not over oil and your kajal won't really melt down. What I do is,I use almond oil at night to rejuvenate that delicate skin and during the day,I use an under eye gel that's going to provide the correct moisturisation and improve the skin quality.
5)BLACK EYE SHADOW IS A HERO
It actually is !What you can actually do is ,take an angled brush, pick a little bit of little bit of black eyeshadow and apply it along the line of your kajal, over your kajal. So,what this is going to help you with is that it will intensify the colour of your your kajal and also lock it if if it oily. This one is a quick fix if you've bought a kajal that is too oily.
So I hope that this post helped you,I try and pick the most common problems and try and solve them!Comment below if you have any suggestions or requests, let me know.Follow me on facebook, twitter and instagram for more helpful stuff.Share this post with your friends and recommend it on google + .Till then, remain a Pure Narcissist ! xoxo
